I just recently started using WinFX again and here is what I see.

I thought the prog had a checkbox for 'follow window shape' or something like that.

One of the neatest things about Stardock products is being able to get away from dull square windows.

But if you do,they cant use WinFX for shadows.

WFX did have an option to enable contouring shadows to rounded corners, up to about 4 pixels or so as I recall, but that option is gone now, I think because WFX3 does it automatically (works on slightly rounded corners here on XP). However, WFX was never able to contour shadows to offset borders such as the one in your pic. Maybe with the new Aero engine they'll be able to come up with a way to do that.

Hi Daiwa.

Having only rounded corners is pretty limiting to a program designed for using your creativity to enhance windows.

Why cant the size of the non shadowed area under the window be adjustable...thats all it would take.

Even better would be for it to actually follow the visible pixels...I noticed the outline of the shadow appears totally square...lame.

The idea is that now authors will include their own shadows built into the border images themselves, with per-pixel borders being used etc...

UH CJD my friend,I dont have any per pixel skins...    At this time they are still almost a step backward and not all cards support them yet.

So I could have proper shadows just not on the regular pinked skins...Thats what WinFX is for and it is doing a poor job...I think it could be fixed easily tho...luv me shadows.
